How to use Google Maps Without Internet
Google Maps is my favourite navigation app, but I rarely have an Internet connection when roaming on a trip, so how can I use Google Maps then? It’s a good idea to plan ahead for your journey by downloading maps while you are still on Wi-Fi. Once you have downloaded a region, you can get directions or view points of interest in that area even there is no Internet connection. The downside is that only driving routes are available, there are no walking or cycling directions. You also can’t modify routes like avoiding tolls or ferries. How to save maps to use offline 1.
